Nice pictures of the substation there. That high strain tower is a special one, with large line angle.

Vermoedelijk wat dit vroeger een 220-kV-lijn. Het station was tot ruim 2005 een 380/220/110/35-kV-station! De lijn van Weisweiler naar Verlautenheide is van ca. 1998/99, daarvoor wordt Aken via de oude 220-kV-lijn (liep vroeger naar Belgie) voorzien.

Die 220 kV van UW Zukunft naar België (Jupille) liep via Zuid-Limburg, waarvan één circuit via het station Lutterade, en één circuit rechtstreeks Zukunft-Jupille. In Lutterade was een 220/150 kV-trafo van volgens mij 100 MVA ten behoeve van uitwisseling tussen B, NL en D. Het circuit via Lutterade bestond uit geleiders van 100/305 St/Al.

Strainer of the medium voltage line from Nrendlorenzen substation to Mellricchstadt. This line uses as strainers lattice towers, from which - what is very unusual for Germany - many are implemented as delta pylons. As suspension towers originally wooden portal pylons were used, but these were replaced by conventional concrete or tubular steel poles.

Powerlines south of old Bergrheinfeld substation. When this picture was taken the 380 kV-line from the shut-down Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power station, which can be seen in the background of the picture, was rerouted to the new Bergrheinfeld substation.
The tower on the left was originally used by this line and had therefore crossbars in right angle to the actual position. Now it is used for a 110 kV-line from new Bergrheinfeld substation to Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power station.

Power lines near Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power station. Note that some pylons are unusually low.

Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power station. It was working from December 1981 to June 2015 and used a pressurized water reactor with a generation capacity of 1345 MW.

The first kilometres, the 380 kV/220 kV-powerline Grafenrheinfeld-Raitersaich and the 380 kV-powerline Grafenrheinfeld-Oberhaid run paralell, but southeast of Röthlein, the line to Raitersaich turns in southern direction while that to Oberhaid runs further toward east, At this point the line to Oberhaid takes over two 110 kV-circuits to Eltmann and the line to Raitersaich takes over the two circuits of the line to Brünnstadt, so latter line becomes a line with 15 conductors (5 circuits) - the only one of its kind in Northern Bavaria!
